Society for Military History Student Papers
The Society for Military History sponsors the award for the best graduate student paper in Military History at the NGPHC. For information on competing for this prize please send inquiries to George Eaton.
Papers must be submitted in electronic format by August 31, 2025 to George Eaton at smhatngphc@gmail.com
The William E. Lass Award will be awarded for the best student paper on any topic in the geographic spaces where Professor Lass, who was prolific, carried out research. This region includes Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska.
