Conference Venue and Accommodations

All conference sessions, meetings, and the Friday Banquet and Awards Ceremony will be held on Montana State University’s campus, 751 W Grant St, Bozeman, MT 59715.

There are three separate hotel blocks with special room rates for NGPHC participants. Please note that there are limited rooms at each location with expiration dates prior to the start of the conference, so please book ahead. We are scheduled to have a home football game the weekend of the conference, so hotel prices outside of the conference group rate will be more expensive.

  • The Lewis and Clark Motel is the closest lodging option to the conference. The hotel is located off Main St. and next to our local food co-op. It is also the most expensive option with the least number of rooms available for the block. Below is more information from the hotel on cost, number of rooms, and how to book. Please note that the cutoff date for the discounted rate is October 8, 2026. Standard Double Queen rooms are $199.00/night on Wednesday (10/28) and Thursday (10/29) and $239.00/night on Friday (10/30).

  • The cheapest and furthest option from campus is the Home 2 Suites by Hilton. This hotel is about six miles away from campus and on the very edge of Bozeman's city limits. It is also right next to the Bozeman Hot Springs and is on Highway 191, which will take you right into West Yellowstone if you are doing some traveling while you are here. Standard Double Queen and Standard King studios are priced at $129.00/night.

  • Our largest hotel block of 75 rooms is located at the Best Western Grantree Inn. The Grantree is almost two miles away from campus. The hotel has an airport shuttle, a full restaurant and bar, and is near Interstate 90. Standard Double Queen and Standard King rooms are priced at $171.00/night. If you would like to stay an extra day, the Grantree is offering the group rate until November 1.

  2. They may also use our Lewis & Clark Motel booking engine on our website www.lewisandclarkmotels.com is up and running with your promo attached 1 year in advance!  To book these reservations online please use the steps below:

1.       Go to our website: www.lewisandclarkmotels.com

2.       Enter your arrival date in the cream-colored Availability Calendar box. Choose number of Nights, Beds, Adults in the drop-down menus there.

3.       In the Access Code box, enter your Promo/Access Code. Then click Availability Search to proceed with the reservation at the discounted block rate.

4.       OR Click on the “Book Now” link situated to the left side of the Availability Search calendar, Clicking on the “Book Now” area will take you to the proper link allowing you to enter the dates of stay, number of adults and the Promo/ Access Code- needed to display the discount rate - then click on search for availability and pricing. 

5.       You will then choose the displayed promo rate for your group as you proceed book now and to finalize the reservation.

  1. ***Cancellation Policy:

    1. Any reservations made under group block will be subject to the following cancellation policy. For full refund/ no fees: 48 Hours in advance of arrival date. Any cancellation or changes made after the 48 Hour period will result in full charges of entire reservation being collected as cancellation penalty. The typical hotel cancellation policy of 24 hours in advance will not apply to block reservations.

  2. Please note we do have a Lewis & Clark Motel location in the town of Three Forks, Montana. This block is for the Lewis & Clark Motel of Bozeman ONLY. Reservations made through our sister property will not reflect the block rate and will not guarantee a room at the Lewis & Clark Motel of Bozeman.

  3. Please direct your guests to use our website www.lewisandclarkmotel.com  for hotel information, amenities, photos, or call us direct so we can tell you about our place!

  4. Reservations made through outside entities (Booking.com, Hotels.com, Expedia, etc.) will not reflect the block rate nor will we be able to adjust rates after booking.

  5. Early bookings are encouraged, discount rates and availability may not be offered after cutoff date.

  6. Notice rates quoted are starting rates based on room type and up to 2 additional people. Additional people or dogs may result in an extra fee.

  7. Notice if room type is outside of what was offered in the block, there may be an additional fee.

  8. If guests are attempting to book past the cutoff date, please have them call direct and we will try our best to accommodate them.

  9. In addition, if the number of rooms being held has been reached, please have guests call us direct and we will try our best to accommodate them.

  10. A light healthy start grab-n-go breakfast is complimentary every morning from 6am – 10am. (Note: we do not offer a full hot style breakfast).

  11. Our Luxury Pool and Spa area with Hot Tub, Eucalyptus Steam Room, and Relaxation Space are available to guests daily from 6am-10pm. Don’t forget to tell guests to pack their swimsuits!
